I think that I am homesick. I usually enjoy my time up in Boone and usually I don’t go home a lot during the semesters. However this year, I would much rather be in Cary than in Boone. I miss my parents, I miss my sister, I miss my Noah. 5ish years in Boone is tooo long. I used to dream about being in Boone when I was at home. Now all I can think about is December – when I am no longer in Boone. I’ve missed SO many important moments in my nephews life. I’m surprised that he remembers his Aunt Tatey when I do get the chance to go home. I cannot believe that in November he will be 2 YEARS OLD!
Don’t get offended Boone, you have been fun these past couple years despite me getting into trouble on a few occasions.. I’ve made a lot of good friends and lost a lot of flaky friends (which is good). I love my friends I’ve made through other mutual friends.. the ones I’ve made through classes.. including both Blocks. I love you all. Please do not be offended. But I am ready to leave. I am ready to graduate. I am ready to be back home.

Kate, I just wanted to let you know that I feel the same way. I used to not really get homesick, but for some reason this semester all I want to do is go home everyweek and stay there. I keep telling myself that these next few months we are in it to win it and all you have to do is keep moving. Something my mommy told me that really helped me was that everyday you go to class and everyday you wake up when you dont want to is a day you never have to repeat and it is a day that is one step closer to being finished. You CAN do it girl, and you have 21 other girls that are here for you and we will be your family away from home

Okay. Noah is the cutest baby child I’ve ever seen. Look at those eyes! I totally understand why you’re homesick. Don’t sweat it though, my dear. December will be here before you know it! In the mean time, let’s hassle Jocelyn about making us more baked goods. Stay strong, sister!

I completely know how you feel! It has been a joyous journey, but there comes a time when you just want to be with your loved ones. It is crazy to look back and see how time flies!

It’s ok to miss home, everyone does! We need to have a Block 2 party and go out one night to “shake the stress away!” P.s. cute baby and you had reallllly long hair why’d you cut it!?
